                                                                        Who is Rachel-Rose?

Rachel Rose is a singer/songwriter who is all about music, people, and connecting. Her mix of sounds is hybrid, characterised by a fusion of pop, soul, and r & b, which on “It’s Time” has metamorphosed into an up-tempo, blues, funk, soul vibe, guaranteed to make you dance your way out of heartbreak. Her powerful vocals have been described as ‘astounding’, ‘powerful’ ‘beautiful’ and ‘inspirational’, and have taken her to iconic venues in the UK and abroad, including Ronnie Scott’s, Kiss 100 Music Cube, the O2, South Central Festival, Hammersmith Apollo, Wembley Arena, Vodaphone future breakers stage at Capital Summer Time ball, Glastonbury, supporting Ray Quinn on tour and an array of private locations.

Rachel also featured on The Voice UK 2017 singing Ellie Goulding – Love Me Like You Do at her blind audition reaching over a million views on YouTube. Solo act and team player Rachel Rose love’s forging great musical collaborations with a wide range of performers and producers – seasoned stars and emerging talent alike.

Rachel released her latest single ‘You’re the One’ which later went on to be playlisted on Spotify and received high praise of industry professionals and other talented artists.

In 2017, the title track from her album “It’s Time” made its way into independent film Deadringer which was showcased at film festivals in Cannes and Florida; she also performed at the premiere in Leicester Square. This step into the film industry has opened some very exciting doors, as Rachel has been writing original music for feature films The Seven (Dean Cain) released 2019 and Ria (Luke Goss) released 2020. Not only has she been an integral part of the creative process behind the scenes, in November 2018 she also flew to LA for her acting debut in Ria after the director felt one of the songs would be better performed on scene by Rachel herself, building her a character into the script. After a telephone audition, showcasing her ability to do American accents, she landed the part and flew to LA 3 weeks later.

Not only has she been kept busy with projects in film, Rachel has been teaming up with a handful of DJ/producers forging musical collaborations. For example the release of a new commercial house track with DJ/producer Freqload in January 2020, and more in the pipeline.

She has been hard at work writing her next project and is about to hit the studio in readiness for release later this year.
