WELL I don’t even know what to say! 5 days, 4 nights, 7 gigs, so much mud, so many incredible artists, a handful of tears, some amazing people mud wind and a glimmer of sun.

We arrived at around 8.30pm on Wednesday and it was once again, like stepping into a beautiful creative bubble where everybody focussed on dancing, singing and trying not to fall down.

I got to see people I’d never seen before absolutely dominate the stage and remind me all over again why I am so in love with music. Christine and the Queens and Stormzy were my two favourite “newbies” except not newbies of course but newer to the scene for means some. They had energy, and excitement, and talent and they were so modest. Such inspiring talent.

My favourite main stage act was Adele. WITHOUT doubt. She managed to sing to hundreds of thousands of people and make you feel like it was just the two of you. She was funny and beautiful and powering and I have never felt so united in a moment with perfect strangers…something I will never forget. Ever.

Leaving Glastonbury I felt so many things. I know I was in a complete bubble away from everything that’s going on in England right now, (and I will continue to keep my views on that quiet) however, what I will say, is the weekend was beautiful, magical and emotional for so many reasons. I witnessed love, and unity and freedom like I had never seen anywhere else. Love of music, United in our enjoyment of music and freedom to dance to that music and be creative in everything about that place holding music. No matter what shape or size, race, colour, sexual preference or religious beliefs. If I could do one thing it would be to take how Glastonbury has made me feel and give it to everybody I meet in hope that we could all feel this wonderful, always.
